Looking for history on my grandfather and great-grandfather
I don't know much about my gradfather and grandmother,hey both died
before I was born. I am 51. I have 1 older sister,DOROTHY ANN BOWERS, and I have 2 younger sisters. ETHEL JUANITA BOWERS CAMPBELL and JEWEL ELAINE BOWERS HODGES. My name is MARY RUTH BOWERS. I have a lot of half
brothers and sisters, GEORGIA BOWERS STUMP,[DEAD] RONALD WILLIAM BOWERS,
[DEAD] JOHN BOWERS [DEAD] PEARL MARIE BOWERS MAYO, JESSIE LEON BOWERS,
SHIRLEY NELL BOWERS HARRY, THELMA NADINE BOWERS HENDRIX, JOYCE ANN BOWERS, WANDA JEAN BOWERS WHITING, and VIOLET ANN BOWERS PAXTON.
My fathers name was RAY WILLIAM BOWERS [he died in 1973] my grandfathers
name was JOHN ISAAC BOWERS and my great-grandfathers name was WILLIAM LEWIS BOWERS. I'm looking for history on the BOWERS'S from the time they

i dont know if these are the same family but i did a family tree on the bowers last year and here is what i came up with (all facts) let me start with bunyun bowers (1918-1985)
asa marion bowers (1828-1926)
joel bowers 1812-1862)
william bowers (1779-1844)
william job bowers 1755-1779) was killed the night his son was born by torries. i have visted all of these bowers grave sites mostly in bowersville mem cemetary in bowersville ga. i have them listed as son to father top to bottom. i also have lots of other info on the bowers family that was past on to my wife from gordon bowers to malcolm bowers (my father in law) if you or anybody would like to share any info on the bowers family please e-mail me at Gotfumar@earthlink.net the bowers family bible can be found at the hart county library.
