Bowers in Canada
Hello everyone;
Just a quick note, I see that the vast majority of the info etc. is US, unfortunately.
Is there anyone out there with info on the Bowers in Canada? Mostly I'm interested in Bowers out of B.C., Alberta, or Sask. Of course any info is welcome.
The best info that I can come up with is my grandfather Marvin who was born in North Dakota and emigrated to Alberta. Any help is appreciated.

Bowers in Canada
Moses Bower Jr. had two sons who emigrated to Canada - Samuel and Michael (they were half-brothers).
Here's a little information about Moses Bower Jr:
Moses Bower Jr (1755-1801) was married twice. His first wife was Barbara Friederich (1761-1797) and they had eight children: Catharina (1780-1797), Jacob Friederich (1786-bef 1867), Elizabeth (1784-1853), Moses III (1786-1863), George (1787-1851), Daniel (1790-?), Samuel (1792-1855) and David (1794-1865). His second wife was Barbara Kloss (1761-1844) and they had two children: Johannes (1799-?) and Michael (abt 1801-1885).
I am connected to this family through Moses Bower III who was my 4th great-grandfather.
As mentioned, Michael and Samuel both emigrated to Canada. Samuel and his family settled in the Kitchener area in 1825 while Michael and family settled in Hastings County, Ontario.
