Your real name. Purely optional... Sometimes login names are a bit cryptic, so it is nice to see what someone normally goes by.
Your general location (optional), such as: Alexandria, VA, US or London, England, etc. Your address is not required, it is just nice to see where some people are from.
Enter a public e-mail address if you wish for people to be able to see your e-mail address. The prior e-mail address field was only for system use and is NOT visible. Alternately, if you want people to be able to contact you directly but choose not to display a public e-mail address, you can leave this blank but then check off the "Personal contact form" at the bottom of "my account->edit". That will instead allow people to contact you via a form on this site, rather than reveal your e-mail address publically.
Optionally, you can enter information on what IM clients and screen names you use.
You may enter your personal website here. This is completely optional. Abusive users who create accounts for the purpose of creating more links to their Spamming and purely commercial websites (free money here, low rates mortgages, buy drugs on-line, etc), will be deleted.
Feel free to provide a little background information about yourself. Interests, hobbies, job, family, interest in family history and research, etc.
